A narrow win over Empoli, Milan stabilizes its position at the top of the standings


AC Milan solidified its position at the top of the Serie A standings after winning 1-0 in the continuation of the Serie A match, Sunday (13/3) early morning WIB. The Rossoneri, at the moment, are five points clear at the top of the table.

Pierre Kalulu scored AC Milan’s winning goal in the 18th minute of the match at the San Siro. The Rossoneri defender’s first goal was enough to seal the victory for the fashion city’s side.

Inter Milan, who still has one more game in hand, will travel to Napoli’s headquarters on Sunday (13/3).

As for Napoli, which is one point adrift of Inter Milan, they will travel to Verona’s headquarters.

“The standings are very good to look at but other teams still have more games to play,” said AC MIlan coach Stefano Pioli.
