Abraham says AS Roma deserves to win the UEFA Conference League

AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham claimed that his team deserved to win the UEFA Conference League after beating Feyenoord 1-0 in the final at Arena Kombetare Stadium, Tirana, Albania, Thursday (26/50 am WIB).

“One thing I said when I came here was that I would help my team reach the final and one day I would win a trophy. In my first season, I got that,” Abraham said, quoted from the club’s official website, Thursday (26/26/2011). 5).

The England international said that, in that match, AS Roma put in a good performance and credit is due to his team-mates who have put in an outstanding performance.

“Compliments to my team-mates, and some great performances, a great goal from Nico (Zaniolo) today, Chris (Smalling) in defence, the whole team deserved that. We’ve worked hard all year,” Abraham explained.

Abraham also expressed his appreciation to AS Roma fans who have provided direct support by coming to Albania and witnessing the success of his team winning the UEFA Conference League.

He said he couldn’t wait to return to Rome and celebrate this success with the fans who have supported them over the years.

“I love them. From day one when I came here they were the best. I’m happy to be part of the team and now it’s time for a party, let’s celebrate!,” Abraham said.

Abraham was recorded to have come to AS Roma at the beginning of last summer from Chelsea for a fee of 40 million euros or around Rp. 626 billion with a contract duration until 2026.

This season, the 24-year-old has made 53 appearances for AS Roma and has contributed 27 goals and 5 assists from 4,528 minutes played. (Ant/OL-1)
