ARDI Idrus is confirmed to be absent from defending Persib in the match week 33 of Liga 1 2021/2022 against Persik Kediri at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Wednesday (23/3).
This happened because Ardi was given a red card in the match against Persebaya on Saturday (19/3).
Ardi, quoted from the club’s official website, Sunday (20/3), apologized to Bobotoh for the red card he received so he could not defend Persib against Persik.

“Dear Bobotoh, without any respect, I apologize for the second yellow card I received. It was really very fast, I thought I had to save the ball from a quick counter-attack and had to try to get the ball as much as possible,” he said.
The apology was also conveyed by the 29-year-old defender accompanying the upload of photos on his personal Instagram account, @ardi_idrus22.
The defender of the Blue Prince squad also apologized for his mistake in making a decision which resulted in a second yellow card or red card against Persebaya.
Ardi hopes to make amends for this mistake in the final match of the season, when Maung Bandung meets Barito Putera.
“From the bottom of my heart, I can only apologize. I want to correct my mistakes by giving my best in the final match of the season if given the opportunity. Thank you,” said Ardi.
Ardi got his first red card this season and it was his first time playing for Persib since 2018, while the player with number 3 has pocketed eight yellow cards this season.
Apart from Ardi, Henhen Herdiana is also confirmed to be absent against Persik because he has received three yellow cards this season. Henhen received the yellow card in the match against Persija Jakarta, Madura United and Persebaya.
Since defending Persib in the 2017 season, this is the second time Henhen has been absent due to card accumulation. (Ant/OL-1)
