Alfeandra’s late goal between PSIS draws Bhayangkara FC

The goal scored by Alfeandra Dewangga saved PSIS Semarang from defeat to Bhayangkara FC in the match week 30 of Liga 1 2021/2022 which took place at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Stadium, Denpasar, Saturday (12/3) night.

With a dramatic goal towards the end of the match, both teams finally had to settle for sharing points with a 1-1 draw.

In the first half, Bhayangkara FC immediately took the lead in the 10th minute with a penalty after Evan Dimas was violated by PSIS player Alfaeandra.

Herman Dzumafo, who served as the penalty taker, successfully netted the ball into the PSIS goal which was guarded by goalkeeper Jandia Eka.

After conceding, Laskar Mahesa Jenar increasingly aggressively sent attacks to suppress the opponent’s defense and create a number of opportunities.

However, the Guardians’ defense was still too tight to be penetrated and they took advantage of the opportunity several times to send back attacks even though they did not produce goals.

Until the first half ended, there had been no additional goals from both teams so that Bhayangkara FC temporarily won with a score of 0-1.

In the second half, PSIS who were left behind tried to catch up by more aggressively attacking the defense line of Paul Munster’s team.

However, the efforts made by PSIS have not been able to break the deadlock because Bhayangkara FC’s defense is still too solid.

Likewise, Bhayangkara FC compensated by sending a counter-attack scheme to the defense of Dragan Djukanovic’s team, but it did not result in a goal.

Until 90 minutes of normal game time, Bhayangkara FC was still ahead, but surprisingly PSIS broke into the goal guarded by goalkeeper Awan Setho.

Alfeandra made amends for the mistake that caused PSIS to concede a penalty goal by scoring a save in the 90+3 minute and closed the game with a 1-1 draw.

With these results, PSIS is ranked 7th in the 2021/2022 Liga 1 standings with 39 points, while Bhayangkara FC failed to add points despite remaining in third place with 59 points. (Ant/OL-1)
