Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri reportedly wants Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah as a replacement for Paulo Dybala in the 2022-2023 season. Salah’s contract at Anfield will expire in 2023, but so far talks regarding extending his tenure have not reached a consensus.
Salah’s economic demands have been cited as an obstacle to the deal, given the Egyptian star wants a salary higher than 12 million euros per season. Meanwhile, Dybala is certain to leave the Bianconeri next summer.
With that situation, Juventus will look for a new world-class winger or central midfielder to replace Dybala. Several names have been associated with the Serie A club such as Jorginho, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and Paul Pogba.
Il Corriere della Sera and Calciomercato.com reported that Salah was the Old Lady’s main target to replace Dybala. But it is certain that it will not be easy for the Turin club to convince Liverpool to sell the striker this summer.
Reported by Football Italia, Juventus will reportedly use the growth decision to get a tax discount on Salah’s gross salary. But even with that, they will struggle to respect their financial parameters. (Goal/OL-15)
