AS Roma came out victorious in the Derby della Capitale match after humiliating Lazio 3-0 in the 20th week of the Serie A giornata at the Stadio Olimpico, Monday (21/3) early morning WIB.
Tammy Abraham scored two goals in this match and another goal was scored by Lorenzo Pellegrini.
The result made AS Roma move up to fifth in the standings with 51 points. Meanwhile Lazio slipped to sixth place with 49 points.

Roma immediately gave a surprise by scoring a goal when the game had only been running for one minute through Tammy Abraham’s goal after snatching the ball from Lorenzo Pellegri’s corner kick.
That quick goal made Roma appear more confident, Lazio had difficulty keeping up. Until the 20th minute, Lazio only launched a counter-attack only once.
In the 22nd minute, Roma doubled their advantage. Rick Karsdorp sent the ball to Abraham before the England forward fired home a powerful shot from close range. Roma 2-0 Lazio.
Roma scored the third goal in the 40th minute through a free kick. Pellegrini’s perfect execution into the top right corner could not be reached by Thomas Strakosha. The first half ended with a three-goal advantage for Roma.
Lazio immediately kicked off at the beginning of the second half. A measured shot was fired by Immobile, but the ball still hit the opposing player and only resulted in a corner.
Abraham had a chance to score a hat-trick in the 66th minute. In a free position after receiving a cross and facing the goalkeeper, Abraham failed to direct his shot on goal.
Roma were able to defend very well in the second half and made it difficult for Lazio to penetrate the penalty box. There were no additional goals throughout the second half and AS Roma came out as winners of the Italian capital derby.
In another match, hosts Venezia succumbed 0-2 to Sampdoria, who got two goals from Francesco Caputo in the 24th and 38th minutes.
Venezia played with 10 men since the 86th minute after Thomas Henry got a red card.
Meanwhile, Empoli drew 1-1 against visitors Hellas Verona. Federico Di Francesco put the hosts ahead in the 26th minute. Verona just equalized in the 71st minute from a goal made by Matteo Cancellieri. (Ant/OL-1)
