Wales national team player Gareth Bale says he still has ambitions to defend his country at the 2024 European Cup and 2026 World Cup to come.
Quoted from Sky Sports, Tuesday (12/7), the player who has just officially joined the Los Angeles FC MLS team said, currently, he will only turn 33 this weekend and he still has many years to look forward to.
The former Real Madrid player thinks that his joining with Los Angeles FC can help him to realize these ambitions in the future.

“I didn’t come here to be here for six months, 12 months, I came here to try to be here as long as possible. I want to do as well as I can, make my mark in this league, this team. I’m looking forward to the future. forward, it’s not a short thing,” explained Bale.
“It also gives me the best chance to continue to the next European Cup, maybe further, so my plan is to work hard.”
Regarding Los Angeles FC, Bale assesses that this team has players who have good physical strength as well as a medical team and coaching team with a mature plan.
“By being here, I’ve been given a great opportunity to reach the European Cup and you never know, maybe one more time, that’s my target. I feel like I’m playing a big role here,” Bale said.
Bale completed his move to Los Angeles FC on a free transfer after on June 30 last his contract with La Liga giants Real Madrid was completed. (Ant/OL-1)
