Despite Losing, Shin Tae-yong Praises The Development Of U-19 National Team Players

Indonesia U-19 Team TRAINER Shin Tae Yong praised his players despite losing 1-2 to Persija Jakarta U-18 in the test match held at the PTIK Stadium, Jakarta, Monday (5/9). The South Korean coach saw the development of the game for the team that would be prepared in the U-20 Asian Cup Qualification match.

Shin tried to field all the players in this test match to see the progress of his squad. For him, the results of this trial are not important. In fact, he still praised his players who showed improvement.

“Indeed, this trial is not so important for the final score of the match. Indeed, this defeat is very unfortunate, but the game is getting better and will definitely get better,” said Shin Tae Yong as quoted by PSSI’s official website, Tuesday (6/9).

“I also want to check the individual abilities of the players in this test match. At this time, all players must hone their skills, especially the U-20 Asian Cup Qualification is getting closer,” he added.
