Emery wary of Celta Vigo’s slick trend

Villarreal coach Unai Emery asked his team to be aware of the good trend from Celta Vigo when the two teams met in Week 28 of the Spanish League at El Madrigal Stadium, Villarreal, Sunday (13/3)

Quoted from the club’s official website, Saturday (12/3) Emery explained that Celta Vigo is a team that plays very good and brave football and has many attacking options.

“They are a team in good form, they play very good and brave football. They have talent and a lot of attacking options,” Emery explained.

The Spanish coach continued to explain, Celta Vigo is a team that has good physical endurance and plays with high intensity and is often able to get good results.

Emery got this reference from the first meeting where Villarreal were only able to get one point even though they played well and had chances to win and lose.

“Celta’s physical spread is high and they play with a lot of intensity. They were able to play a good game and get good results,” said Emery.

“At the moment, they are seven points behind. Our last reference was the first meeting, where we got a draw. We played a good game and we had a chance to win, but we can also lose. That’s Celta and that’s the kind of team we hope for. ,” he continued.

Ahead of facing Celta Vigo, Emery explained his two players Paco Alcacer and Alberto Moreno would still be out, while Juan Foyth and Gerard Moreno are recovering well, but it’s still unclear when they will return.

“We have Paco Alcacer and Alberto Moreno out. Foyth and Gerad are progressing well, but we don’t know when they will return.” (OL-8)
