I find the zone valve end switch even though pressed in by zone valve motor isnt closing the circuit to bring on the boiler. After tied together, make sure zone valve is calling for. If the end switch on the zone valve is intermittent, cycling the power will cause the zone valve to close then open again and cycle the end switch.
