England defender John Stones has been confirmed to miss the friendly match against Ivory Coast, Wednesday (30/3) early morning WIB, due to injury.
Stones should have featured in England’s 2-1 win over Switzerland in a friendly on Saturday (26/3), but he missed out after suffering an injury during the win ahead of the match at Wembley Stadium.
England coach Gareth Southgate said Stones was feeling a little cramp before the game and the English Football Association (FA) confirmed Monday that Stones will miss the match against Ivory Coast.

“John Stones has left England’s training camp and has returned to Manchester City,” the FA said in a statement.
“Having missed the match against Switzerland at Wembley, the defender’s condition will continue to be monitored.”
“Following a training session at Tottenham Hotspur’s training facility, it was decided that Stones would not play in the match against Ivory Coast and was sent back to his club,” the FA continued.
Stones is the seventh player to miss England’s friendly series this time.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James, Tammy Abraham and Aaron Ramsdale are out through injury. Meanwhile, Sam Johnstone withdrew and Bukayo Saka tested positive for COVID-19. (AFP/OL-1)
