Inter Milan Reportedly Looking To Extend Ivan Perisic Contract

Italian league giants Inter Milan are reportedly looking to extend the contract of winger Ivan Perisic, which expires next summer.

Quoted from football-italy, Saturday (12/3), Inter will soon have a meeting with Perisic’s side to finalize the renewal of his contract despite the slight discrepancy between his request and the offer from the club.

According to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb, Perisic wants a two-year deal with an extension option worth €5 million per season.

While this is a high sum, it is equal to his current wage and it will be a reward for his loyalty and professionalism after returning from a year on loan with Bayern Munich, where he won the Champions League.

On the other hand, Inter are happy to extend Persisc’s contract but they prefer to reduce the demand that the Croatian player wants.

Inter are believed to be offering a one-year contract with an option to extend it by one year, which will depend on performances and performances, as well as a salary of 4.5 million euros or around IDR 70 billion per season.

The two sides will meet this month to try and finalize a deal but for now it remains unclear whether Perisic will accept these terms or not.

The 33-year-old has been a key player for Simone Inzaghi this season, becoming a regular at left-back in a 3-5-2 system.

This season, Ivan Perisic has appeared in 36 matches with Inter and was able to contribute 5 goals and 3 assists from 2812 minutes played. (Ant/OL-09)
