Juventus explores the possibility of signing Modric from Real Madrid

Italian Serie A club Juventus are reportedly exploring the opportunity to sign Real Madrid veteran Luka Modric in the transfer market next summer. Besides Juventus, several clubs outside Europe such as clubs from Qatar also want Modric.

Mentioned, the Croatian midfielder wants to try a new adventure by strengthening the club outside Spain. Moreover, Modric’s contract with Los Blancos will expire in June.

However, Modric was reluctant to leave the Spanish capital. It is believed he will soon get a new contract offer from Real Madrid management. Real Madrid is said to be offering Modric a new contract before his tenure ends at the end of this season.

Nevertheless, the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner still wants to commit to Real Madrid next season for at least one more season.

Although no longer young, Modric is still able to prove himself an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. In fact, the 36-year-old midfielder was the protagonist of Real Madrid’s success in getting rid of Chelsea dramatically in the Champions League quarter-finals some time ago. (Goal/OL-15)
