Juventus extends unbeaten record

JUVENTUS picked up a convincing 2-0 win at home to bottom team Salernitana in the Italian League match week 30 at Juventus Stadium.

Paulo Dybala and Dusan Vlahovic scored goals for the home team in this match.

These three points do not change the position of Juventus in fourth place, with the acquisition of 59 points. Meanwhile Salernitana remain slumped at the bottom of the table after only collecting 16 points from 28 matches.

Juventus immediately scored a goal when the game had only been running for five minutes. Juan Cuadrado stabbed down the right and found Dusan Vlahovic in the box. The Serbian striker then passed the ball to Dybala who finished it for the goal. The score became 1-0.

Now it’s Vlahovic’s turn to list his name on the scoreboard in the 29th minute. De Sciglio crossed from the right flank into the penalty area which was met by Vlahovic’s header into Sepe’s goal. The home team has a two-goal lead without reply.

The Old Lady continued to attack Salernitana after the goal, but the first half ended 2-0.

After the break, Juventus chose to stay and let Salernitana have the ball in the middle of the field.

Juve created opportunities in the 63rd minute. Matthis de Ligt headed a corner into the net but went too close to Sepe who easily saved the ball.

Salernitana responded with Djurik’s volley in the box in the 74th minute, but Szcesny made a brilliant save and kept Juve’s goal from conceding.

There are no additional goals until the game is over. Juventus continued their unbeaten run in the Italian League with 16 consecutive matches. (OL-8
