PSM Makassar will face Malaysia’s representative team Kedah Darul Aman in the semifinals of the ASEAN Zone of the 2022 AFC Cup. The match is planned to take place on 9 August.

Kedah Darul Aman is the winner of Group G. This result was achieved after defeating Visakha FC with a score of 5-1 in the last match, Thursday (30/6) night.

Kedah shifted Visakha’s position, which previously topped the standings. They each collect 5 points. However, Kedah is ahead on goal difference far from Visakha, which is 5 to 0.

Meanwhile, PSM escaped from the Group H phase because they were in first place in Group H with a collection of four points.

Kedah Darul Aman FC coach Aidil Sharin Sahak has not thought about the match against PSM. He wants his team to celebrate the moment of success in advancing to the top four, because they deserve it.

“I want the players to enjoy this moment after giving everything, we have encountered many obstacles, it is not an easy thing,” Aidil said as reported by Sinar Harian. (S-2)
