The Red Bull KTM team racer, Miguel Oliveira, managed to become the winner in the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2022 series. Interestingly, the iron horse used, the KTM RC16, was once sold carrying full racing specifications.
When appearing at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, Miguel Oliveira was able to become the winner after devouring 20 laps with a time of 33 minutes 27.223 seconds. The Portuguese rider only needed four laps to take the leading position.
In fact, Oliveira started the race from seventh position and had to compete with other riders in the midst of bad weather conditions. But unexpectedly, Oliveira managed to walk smoothly without being overtaken to the finish line.
One of the highlights of Oliveira’s victory at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit is the motor racing. Joining the Red Bull KTM team, Oliveira rides a KTM RC16 that carries qualified specifications.
Well it turns out, the racing motorbike belonging to the KTM team was once sold to the public. The racing motorbike in question is actually the motorbike used on the circuit by KTM MotoGP racers.

Quoted from various sources, the KTM racing motorbike being sold is the 2019 RC16 type. This motorbike has full specifications for MotoGP racing and was used by Pol Espargaro, before he joined the Repsol Honda team in the 2021 season.
The 2019 KTM RC16 that was sold was once used by Pol Espargaro when he won the second starting position in the San Marino MotoGP series, 2019. In the same season, the Spaniard managed to finish 11th in the MotoGP standings by gaining 100 points.
Then in 2020 the KTM RC16 motorcycle used by Pol Espargaro was finally sold to the public. KTM only sold as many as two units of the iron horse at a pretty fantastic price, namely 288,000 euros or around Rp 4.5 billion per unit.
In addition to getting a motorbike, buyers will also take home a wearpack, a helmet that has been signed by Pol Espargaro, and a VIP MotoGP viewing package for all races on the circuit.
Talking a little about the specifications, the KTM RC16 carries a V4 engine with a capacity of 1,000 cc which is capable of producing 265 hp. Having a powerful engine, the KTM RC16 is capable of reaching a maximum speed of up to 340 km per hour.
In addition, there are a number of sophisticated electronic devices on the racing motorbike, such as Drive by Wire, Engine Braking, Quickshifter, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Pit Lane Limiter, to Launch Control.
