Manchester City Imingi Haaland Salary IDR 9.3 Billion per Week

MANCHESTER City did various ways to persuade Erling Haaland to join the Etihad Stadium. One of them is by offering an exorbitant salary for the Norwegian striker who currently belongs to Borussia Dortmund.

No half-hearted, Manchester City dared to pay Haaland 500 thousand pounds or approximately Rp. 9.3 billion per week! This figure has almost quadrupled what he received at Dortmund.

If the offer is accepted, Haaland will become the highest-paid Premier League player. Currently, the record is held by Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) who receive a salary of 385,000 pounds per week.

Manchester City have urgency to sign Haaland. Pep Guardiola’s squad does not have a pure striker this season.

Haaland is currently under contract at Dortmund until June 2024. However, the 21-year-old goal machine is reported to have a release clause of only 63 million pounds.

After failing to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur this season, Haaland’s arrival may be forced by Manchester City next summer in the name of the club’s ambitions to dominate Europe.

Haaland is one of the best young players and has taken the world by storm over the last two years. Since joining Dortmund in early 2020, the Norwegian striker has scored 80 goals plus 21 assists in 80 games.

Prior to his career in Germany, Haaland scored 29 goals in 27 games for RB Salzburg. Amazingly, he has recorded 23 goals in just 19 Champions League matches. Last season, he won the Champions League top scorer title with a collection of 10 goals. (Goal/OL-15)
