PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing or YIMM officially launched New Yamaha Freego at the Indonesia Motorcycle Show or IMOS 2022. This vehicle is Yamaha’s second new product to launch at the exhibition. Previously, they first introduced the All New XMAX.

President Director and CEO of PT YIMM, Minaru Morimoto hopes, the presence of the new Yamaha Freego can be the choice of Indonesian consumers who want cheap but comfortable and accommodating vehicles.

The new Yamaha Freego looks fresh thanks to the new headlights or headlamps whose design resembles the Lexi, which forms a ‘V’ pattern. In addition, the fairing is made more pointed to give a sporty impression to the vehicle.

In the latest version, the Yamaha Freego has 25 liters of luggage which is equivalent to the NMax. Not only that, the manufacturer provides it with additional storage space on the front. Its function is to store the driver’s bottle or cellphone.

The manufacturer has implanted the Yamaha Freego with various excellent features, ranging from a start stop system, a full digital instrument panel, a smart keyless system, an answer back system, a smart motor generator (SMG), and a cellphone charging socket.

Especially for the highest variant, the new Yamaha Freego is also equipped with advanced technology called Y-Connect. This feature previously appeared on Maxi models such as NMax, XMAX and Aerox.

Through the Y-Connect feature, the new Yamaha Freego can connect directly to a smartphone or smartphone.
