The Directorate of Traffic (Dirlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya and the DKI Transportation Service will hold a trial in 13 new odd-even areas. This trial is planned to start on June 6-12 2022.
Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said, during the odd-even trial process in the 13 new areas, the police would not immediately give fines for violators. However, violators will be given a warning.
“On June 6-12 for a week we will conduct a trial. A trial in the sense that when there is a violation in the 13 new areas, we will not immediately give action with a ticket, but we will carry it out with a warning,” said Sambodo, quoted by Antara.
Furthermore, Sambodo explained that the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya would place a number of personnel in the 13 areas. This is done to stop the violators and give a warning, but still no fines are done because it is still in the trial stage.
“So, after June 13, we will take action against all 26 (odd-even) areas,” he explained.
In the implementation of the 13 new locations that implement the odd-even system, the police will first conduct socialization until June 5, 2022. Only after that, the police will conduct trials at the 13 new odd-even points on June 6-12.

“As many as 13 new areas, from May 25 to June 5, socialization will be carried out. Then on June 6 to 12 for a week we will do a trial,” said Sambodo.
For information, the Director of Lantas Polda Metro Jaya has re-released the new odd-even zone in DKI Jakarta. Previously, the odd-even zone was applied to 25 points, now one more segment has been added to make it 26 points.
“Regarding the expansion of odd-even locations in the DKI area, from 13 areas to 26 areas, the decision was finalized on May 25, 2022,” said Sambodo as reported by detikNews.
Actually, there are not many changes regarding this odd-even location. However, for odd-even locations in the Salemba area, it is carried out on two roads, namely Jl Salemba Raya on the west side and Jl Salemba Raya on the east side to Paseban-Diponegoro intersection.
