Pandawa Beach, Secret Beach Full of Charm

Bali has many beautiful beaches that are the main target of tourists, one of which is Pandawa Beach. But, it turns out that this beach was once a secret beach.

Pandawa Beach is located in Kutuh Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. This beach is about 3 km from the tourist area of ‚Äč‚ÄčNusa Dua and Uluwatu Temple. Meanwhile, Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 18 km away.

Access to Pandawa Beach is relatively easy and not too far away. From Ngurah Rai Airport and Denpasar City, this beach can be reached for about 1 hour by car. From Denpasar, a traveler can go to this beach using the Bali Mandara toll road.

Pandawa Beach offers clean and enchanting natural scenery. Previously, this beach was a secret beach. Because of its hidden location behind a rocky hill.

After an access road was made that breaks the limestone hill, Pandawa Beach is no longer hidden. Now this beach can be easily visited by anyone.

Pandawa Beach has a myriad of charms. The first thing a traveler will encounter when visiting this beach is the carving of six statues on the limestone cliff wall.

The six statues are statues depicting the Pandava Knights (Arjuna, Bima, Yudhisthira, Nakula, and Sahadeva) and their mother, Dewi Kunti. This 5 meter high statue is believed to be the guardian of Pandawa Beach to protect the beach and its surroundings from harm.

Then after arriving in the beach area, the traveler will be treated to views of clean sand and very clear sea water. Here a traveler can play in the water or relax by sunbathing on the beach.

Besides enjoying the scenery, this beach also provides a variety of other exciting activities. Travelers can go around the beach using canoes, enjoy the beach from the air by paragliding from the top of Timbis Hill, playing trail bikes, to playing in the water at Gunung Payung Beach Waterfall where the water spills onto the beach.

Not only that, at Pandawa Beach a traveler can also observe the seaweed cultivation process carried out by local seaweed farmers. This cultivation can be found on the west side of the beach.

To enjoy the various charms that Pandawa Beach has to offer, a traveler needs to pay an entrance ticket and a game ticket to be followed. The entrance ticket to this beach is very affordable. Here are the entrance ticket prices:

Domestic tourists: IDR 8,000
Foreign tourists: IDR 15,000
Motorcycle parking: IDR 2,000
Car parking: IDR 5,000

Game tickets can be paid directly when playing. The price varies depending on the type of game the traveler chooses.
