PSSI Investigate Bruno Casimir’s Controversy Action

PSSI CHAIRMAN Mochamad Iriawan confirmed that his party was investigating the controversial action of PS Siak defender Bruno Casimir when he faced Serpong City FC in the League 3 match.

According to him, this case will soon be handled by the PSSI Disciplinary Committee (Komdis). In the match last Sunday (13/3), at Gelora Delta Sidoarjo, Bruno deliberately left the ball in the team’s defense area for Serpong City players to take. Then, the ball is used as a goal by the opponent.

In the end, the match ended in a 1-4 defeat for PS Siak. However, this victory was not able to deliver Serpong City for promotion to Liga 2 2023, after finishing in third place in Group DD.

Meanwhile, PS Siak had to finish as bottom of Group DD, without winning in the three matches played in the round of 16.

“I have immediately sent an order to the PSSI Komdis to investigate between Bruno (Casimir), PS Siak and Serpong City FC. We will wait,” explained Iriawan.

“I ask to explore and take steps. If it is proven, it is not in accordance with the principle of fair play. You can’t just pass the ball. Later, the PSSI Komdis will definitely work,” he added. (OL-11)
