The Football School Team (SSB) under the guidance of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V (PTPN V), as a subsidiary of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) which represents Riau Province, has entered the round of 16 of the 2022 edition of the Soeratin U-15 Cup and will face representatives of Jambi Province. .
Director of PTPN V, Jatmiko Krisna Santosa, appreciated the achievements of the nation’s future football players.

The Round of 16 of the U-15 Soeratin Cup will take place at the Benteng Stadium, Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday (24/3). The head coach of SSB PTPN V U-15, Hasan Basri, stated that his team had prepared to face Jambi in the round of 16. “Alhamdulillah, we have qualified for the round of 16 as the leader of Group C. God willing, we are ready to give our best against Jambi tomorrow,” said Hasan Basri when contacted from Pekanbaru, Wednesday (23/3).
Hasan Basri and the PTPN V U-15 SSB coach team tried to regulate the stamina and fitness of the team nicknamed the Children of the Garden. The high intensity of the match during the group stage, drains energy and triggers minor injuries to the players. However, Hasan Basri is optimistic that his foster children will have enough time to undergo a recovery period after resting for one day.
“However, ahead of the big 16 phase, we have one day of rest. Hopefully this can restore the condition of the children,” said Hasan.

Head of SSB PTPN V, Mulla Otmar, explained that even though the initial target had been met, he still asked the Garden Children to continue to fight and give their best in making Riau Province proud in the early childhood football arena at the national level.
“I hope the players continue to maintain this pattern and don’t lose mentally before the match starts. The struggles shown by the SSB PTPN V U-15 children have been very maximal and without giving up continue to play fast by relying on short passes and ball possession.
