Sampdoria are hard to beat at home

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri believes his team will find it difficult to win when they face Sampdoria in the 29th week of the Italian League at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, Genoa, Sunday (13/2).

Quoted from the club’s official website, Saturday (12/2) Allegri said winning away against Genoa or Sampdoria is always difficult. Because the team always performs well in front of their supporters and Juventus needs to have character in order to achieve the results they want.

“Winning at Genoa is always difficult, whether against Genoa or Sampdoria, They transform when playing at home. We need to have character to get the results we are looking for,” explained Allegri.

Regarding Sampdoria, Allegri thinks that Il Samp under Marco Giampaolo in their last two matches at home should be watched out for because of their good record.

Sampdoria have managed to score six goals without conceding a goal and 25 percent of their goals came in the first 15 minutes of the match, therefore Juventus need to get off to a good start in this match.

“In their two home games with Marco Giampaolo as coach, Sampdoria have scored six goals and not conceded. 25 per cent of their goals were scored in the first 15 minutes, so our approach has to be right,” said Allegri.

The Italian coach continued to say, currently Juventus’ focus is to end the season in the top four, either in fourth, third or second position.

The most important thing now is that Juventus are able to continue their positive trend and secure fourth place after five games without losing at all.

“Our target is to finish in the top four. Whether fourth, third or second, it’s not important. What’s important is that we continue our positive run and maintain our fourth position,” concluded the AC Milan coach. (OL-8)
