AS Roma’s Serie A striker Tammy Abraham is one step away from surpassing the Italian capital club legends Gabriel Batistuta and Vicenzo Montella.
Quoted from football-italy, Sunday (13/3), Abraham is only one goal away from Batistuta and Montella’s nicks in his first season with AS Roma.
It is known that Abraham has scored 20 goals for AS Roma in his first season, while Batistuta scored 21 goals in the 2000/2001 season and Montella did the same in the 1999/2000 season.

Abraham has scored 20 goals in 36 appearances for AS Roma this season in all competitions, while Montella and Batistuta have scored goals in 41 and 32 appearances respectively.
Especially for Batistuta, the Argentine striker helped bring AS Roma to win the Serie A title that season, when the Giallorossi were under coach Fabio Capello.
Abraham is believed to be enjoying his first season at AS Roma and thanked supporters on his Instagram account after scoring the decisive goal in beating Atalanta 1-0 last weekend.
The England striker came to AS Roma, early last summer, from Chelsea for a fee of 40 million euros or around Rp. 626 billion with a contract duration until 2026.
If interested, Chelsea could buy Abraham back in the summer of 2023 for a fee of 80 million euros, or around IDR 1.2 trillion. (Ant/OL-1)
