Tebet Eco Park, which is one of the mainstay parks for residents around Jakarta, is temporarily closed. But, travelers need not worry. Because has many other parks that are no less cool.

The Green Open Space (RTH) area in is quite evenly distributed. In each region, generally there are several green open areas belonging to the DKI Provincial Government.

Here are some choices of parks that travelers can visit:

1. Puring Garden

Taman Puring is located on Jalan Kyai Maja, RT 7/RW 1, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. This park is one of the child-friendly parks in Jakarta.

There are various play facilities for children here. Starting from slides, swings, wall climbing, rocking elephants, to skateboard trails.

The atmosphere in this park is also suitable for refreshing yourself and exercising. Because it is surrounded by quite shady trees. It is also equipped with a walking area suitable for jogging.

2. Sambas Asri Park

With a limited area, this park presents a playground for children. In addition, here is also available a multipurpose field that can be used for exercise. There is a basketball hoop and a goal for playing ball.

Sambas Park has a modern design. Combined with artificial hills that are good to look at. This park is not equipped with shady trees. So it seems it would be more suitable to visit in the morning or evening.

3. Floating Garden

Next move to the park in East Jakarta. This park is located on Jalan Lapangan Shoot, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, East Jakarta.

Next is Cattleya Park which is located at Jalan Letjen S. Parman Number 99, RT 15/RW 1, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, West Jakarta. This park is adjacent to the Taman Anggrek Mall. More precisely, it is directly opposite the mall.

This park has a very large area. Equipped with trees and lush plants. Make it have fresh air and beautiful atmosphere. The garden area is very green, so it is very pleasing to the eye.

This park is suitable for all people to visit. Can be a suitable area to freshen up in the middle of the density of the capital city. The large garden area can also be used as a place to exercise.

5. Suropati Park

Taman Suropati is located at Jalan Taman Suropati, RT 5/RW 5, Menteng, Menteng, Central Jakarta. This park is one of the green open spaces that is widely known by the public.

Suropati Park has a very green area. The garden area is filled with a variety of large, lush trees. This park provides a large paving block area. So it is often used as a gathering place for various communities.

In addition to the green garden that spoils the eye. Suropati Park is also very suitable as an exercise area. With a wide paved block road, visitors often use it for jogging and even cycling.

Banteng Field Park is located on Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara, Central Jakarta. This park is in the Gambir area. This park is one of the iconic and historic parks in Jakarta. Because it is decorated by the West Irian Liberation Monument.

Many activities can be done in this park. Starting from exercising, taking pictures, playing, to learning a glimpse of history through the quotes on the walls in the garden area.

The West Irian Liberation Monument in the park is surrounded by ponds and fountains. At certain times, visitors can see the fountain show. Usually this show is held in the afternoon and evening on weekends.

This park is suitable for a family visit. Because it has complete facilities. There is a play area provided for children. As well as paths that can be used for exercise.
