The price goes up to IDR 400 thousand, this is the difference between the Honda ADV 160 and ADV 150

New Honda ADV 160 launched with a number of additional features and a new runway. With so many changes, the price of the Honda ADV 160 is said to have only increased between Rp. 300-400 thousand from the generation of the Honda ADV 150. What are the differences between the two?

The main difference, of course, is in the engine, where the ADV 160 carries a 160 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, eSP+ engine, with the PGM-FI injection system. This engine can generate power up to 11.8 kW (16 PS) at 8,500 rpm and torque of up to 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

For comparison, the ADV 150 carries a 150 cc, 2-valve, liquid-cooled, eSP engine, combined with the PGM-FI injection system. This machine can produce a maximum power of 10.7 kW (14.5 PS) at 8500 rpm and torque of up to 13.8 Nm at 6500 rpm.

Not only the engine, the ADV 160 also carries a new frame model as used in the PCX 160 model. The rear side body has also changed, with a wider cross section, and the front side body is getting sharper which makes the step floor wider.

Changes in the shape of the side body increase the volume of the trunk. The ADV 160 has 30 liters of storage space, an increase of 2 liters from the trunk version of the ADV 150. The ADV 160 is also lower with a seat height of 780 mm, which is 15 mm lower than the seat height of the ADV 150.

Several new features are also a differentiator between the ADV 160 and ADV 150. For example, the navigation buttons for instrument panel settings are now located separately, located between the instrument panel and the handle bar.

In addition, the ADV 160 has also been equipped with a USB charger in the console box with a maximum power of 5V 2.1A, replacing the power charger on the ADV 150 model.

And one more feature that makes the difference between the ADV 160 and ADV 150 is the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Available in the ADV 160 ABS variant, Honda’s premium feature functions to limit engine torque if a difference in rotational speed between the front and rear tires is detected, so that the potential for tire slippage can be avoided.

Regarding the price, the ADV 160 is sold in two types, ABS and CBS with a total of six color variants. The ABS type is marketed at IDR 39,250,000 (On The Road Jakarta), available in three colors, namely Tough Matte Black, Tough Matte Red, and Tough Matte White. In this type, the emblem on the side of the body is sweeter with the Burn Titanium color coating, as well as the rims and handle bars.

Meanwhile, the CBS type, which sells for Rp. 36,000,000 (On The Road Jakarta), gets three color choices, namely Dynamic Black, Dynamic Red, and Dynamic White.
