Husqvarna Norden 901 which was just launched in Indonesia last week was sold out to consumers. The Dakar rally-style adventurous motorbike is only available in 10 units in Indonesia and 27 units in Asia.

Husqvarna Norden 901 which first appeared at EICMA Milan 2019 was imported to Indonesia through PT Premium Motorindo Abadi (PMA) and sold to domestic consumers through 2Wheelies Indonesia. While the price is around Rp. 500 million with off the road status.

“This Husqvarna Norden 901 is indeed very limited, so lucky for those who can get the unit now. Yesterday there were a lot of interest, but only 10 people got it. All of them are from Java,” said 2 Wheelies owner, Alex Samosir in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Friday 2 September 2022 yesterday.

Furthermore, Alex explained, since the first time his party announced that it would sell the Norden 901 in Indonesia, dozens of enthusiasts had immediately expressed their interest. In fact, according to him, they were all determined to order the CBU motorcycle without ever seeing or touching the unit directly.

“Those who bought all of them have not seen the unit directly, even I myself who sold it have not seen the unit during the ordering process. So sure they are with this motorbike,” said Alex.

According to Alex, the buyers of the super rare Norden 901 usually come from the upper middle class. So, when they like the unit, they have been eyeing it for a long time, they won’t think long about ordering it right away.

One of the buyers of the Norden 901, Amdan Achda admitted that he had been eyeing the motorbike since it first launched at EICMA Milan 2019. Before ordering the unit, he had only seen the Norden 901 through YouTube channels and media abroad.

“From the first time I saw it, I was immediately captivated. I like this motorbike because it is simple, easy to ride, powerful, easy to carry everywhere and not intimidating,” said Amdan during the vehicle handover process.
