BARCELONA continued their revival in La Liga by recording a landslide victory 4-0 over Osasuna at Camp Nou, Monday (14/3) early morning WIB.
Three goals in 14 first-half minutes with Ferran Torres scoring twice, one from the penalty spot, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored Barcelona’s third. Riqui Puig made the score 4-0 with 15 minutes remaining.
A fourth straight win took Barcelona back to third in the table, just five points behind Sevilla with a one-game advantage as Julen Lopetegui’s men were held to a 1-1 draw by Rayo Vallecano.

Sevilla have drawn six of their last eight games in La Liga which means Real Madrid have a 10-point lead at the top of the table if they can win at home to Mallorca on Tuesday (15/3).
Barcelona have kept their distance from Sevilla over the last few weeks and could even end the season in second place. Sevilla even threatened to be kicked out of the top four standings if their performances do not improve.
El Barca reaped slick results after the two players they brought in the January transfer market, Torres and Aubameyang, successfully shone.
Both players have scored five goals each since joining Barcelona and have overcome the Catalan club’s dull front line.
Barcelona managed to score four goals in four of their last six matches to pick up 19 points out of a total of 21 points contested.
Xavi Hernandez, who was appointed Barcelona coach in November as Barca slumped to ninth, also deserves credit with the Blaugrana displaying a style of pace and intensity that seemed impossible under Ronald Koeman.
Xavi also managed to take advantage of Ousmane Dembele’s potential even though the Frenchman was still booed by Barcelona supporters for refusing to sign a new contract.
Even so, the booing died down a bit after Dembele made another two assists in the match against Osasuna and was one of the key factors in the Blaugrana’s revival.
Bacelona opened the scoring against Osasuna in the 14th minute after Torres, who received Sergio Busquets’ cross in the box, was brought down by Nacho Vidal. Torres who became the executor of the penalty successfully carried out his duties well.
Dembele then became the mastermind of Barcelona’s second goal. Piercing from the right side, he released a pass to Torres who successfully broke into Osasuna’s goal.
Dembele was again instrumental in Barcelona’s third goal after a cross from the near post by Aubameyang made it 3-0 for Barca.
Gerard Pique, who made his 600th appearance for Barcelona, had a goal disallowed before Puig, who came on as a substitute, scored the Blaugrana’s fourth. (AFP/OL-1)
