U-19 National Team Loses to University Team

TIMNAS Indonesia U-19 was defeated during a test match against the Yeungnam University team, Tuesday (22/3). The Garuda Muda troops were defeated by a score of 1-5.

The cold weather was the main factor for the Indonesian U-19 national team to lose badly. The players had difficulty bringing out their best game because the temperature in Yeongdeok had reached 11 degrees celsius.

The slow adaptation to the weather in South Korea is because the U-19 Indonesian national team first underwent quarantine for one week. During this time the players do virtual practice in the hotel room.

The new Indonesian U-19 national team squad held a training session in the field on Saturday (19/3). This means that Ronaldo Kwateh and his friends only have three days to prepare for the match against Yeungnam University.

“The match went smoothly even though we lost because we haven’t adapted to the cold weather. I did score a goal, but the important thing is the team’s victory and we are always united in this TC in South Korea,” said member of the U-19 national team Ricky Pratama, quoted on the page. PSSI official.

The Indonesian U-19 national team match against Yeungnam University was held in three sessions, each played for 40 minutes. Ricky was only able to list his name on the scoreboard in the last session.

After fighting Yeungnam University in Yeongdeok, the U-19 Indonesian national team left for Daegu, Thursday (24/3). Shin Tae-yong’s troops will continue the TC as well as a test match.

There are currently 30 players following TC in South Korea. This number will increase because the four names that fly after are Robi Darwis, Syukran Arabia Samual, Fillah Rohmatullah Sesa, and Marselino Ferdinand. (Goal/OL-15)
